The Soundtrack of our Lives just released their sixth album "Communion". SPIN magazine gave it 4/5 - praising the double album audacity as an 'epic blast of classic rock from shaggy swedes', adding; '... it's a minor miracle that these Swedish vets' 24-song sixth album clocks in at 94 filler-free minutes, stuffed with late-'60s guitar romps ranging from slow-burn psychedelia (the Beta Band–like opener "Babel On," the Velvet Underground–indebted "Everything Beautiful Must Die") to up-tempo struts, and more deliberate mood pieces (the wave-your-arms-in-the-air finale, "The Passover"). Awarded 'Band of the year 2008' at the Swedish music awards in January, TSOOL will continue to spread their music as a synchronized consciousness reflecting the transformation of what our present solar system is going through - and most probably appear somewhere near you in 2009.
